NDG Low-Pressure Steam + Intelligent Control. 4 Plants, 4 Lines. 50%+ Energy Savings.
[Project Background]
Project: 4 PHC/PC pipe pile plants across Korea (3 existing + 1 new, 4 production lines, 3–6 underground curing kilns each)
Equipment: NDG low-pressure steam generators, centralized intelligent control system, dedicated steam control valves
Product: PHC/PC prestressed concrete pipe piles
Client: Samsung Industry (Korea)
Goal:
Replace traditional boilers. Cut O&M costs. Boost efficiency. Improve surface finish.
01 Low retrofit cost:
Only a few square meters per unit. No major plant modifications. Shortest-path piping minimizes heat loss. Client built their own piping; only core valves and controls sourced from Curetec — keeping retrofit cost down.
02 No special equipment management:
Not a pressure vessel. No license, no annual inspection, no certified boiler operator. Plant management simplified.
03 On-demand steam, instant start:
German direct-fire technology. Steam in 30 seconds, up to 350°C. No continuous burn. Matches 8-hour, 4-stage single-cycle curing profiles.
04 Multi-unit coordinated control:
Multiple NDG models run in parallel under one system. Steam distributed by line load. Zero energy waste.
05 Smart, adjustable curing:
Auto-regulates gas, water, temperature. Historical data logged. Custom ramp/hold/cool profiles for different concrete mixes.
06 Simplified process:
Eliminates the industry-standard two-pass curing (atmospheric + high-pressure autoclave). Single low-pressure cycle meets spec. Shorter production time. Less floor space.
Client Feedback
Compliance burden dropped significantly — no more boiler inspections or certified operator requirements
Pipe pile surface finish: smooth, uniform color — visibly better than traditional curing
Single-cycle curing validated and running reliably — two-step process reduced to one
