-10°C. Outdoor. No Boiler Room. NDG Delivers.

When Bitter Cold Meets Red Lines

A Construction Project’s Quest for Green and Efficient Alternatives

Beijing, December. -10°C outdoors. Freezing, cracking, slow setting — concrete’s worst enemy. On top of that, Beijing’s environmental regulations have banned coal-fired boilers. Traditional cast-in-place box culvert construction: slow, labor-intensive, energy-hungry. This project needed something mobile, eco-friendly, and intelligent.

[Project Background]

Location:  Outdoor precast box culvert site, Beijing

Equipment: NDG low-pressure steam generator, containerized mobile unit, outdoor insulated curing tent system

Supply Mileage: Precast concrete box culverts (120t concrete + 50t steel molds per cycle)

Client:  CCCC Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd.

01 Built for extreme cold

Insulated tent + containerized unit. Stable at -10°C. No fixed boiler room. Plug and play.

02 Custom curing profiles

4-stage auto program — rest → heat → hold → cool. 3h ramp to 50°C, hold ≥6h, 3h cool-down to 10°C. Independent valve control per zone.

03 Unattended + remote ops

Dual-language smart control. Phone, PC, or panel. Full curing data logged automatically.

04 Ultra-low emissions

NOx < 30mg. 60–80% lower than traditional boilers. Meets Beijing’s strictest standards.

The path they have validated repeatedly is itself the most credible endorsement.
NDG is more than a steam generation unit — it is an intelligent curing system built for the future: reducing costs for temporary projects, boosting efficiency for long-term capacity, and safeguarding engineering quality.
Making curing smarter. Making projects easier.
